Intersting observations about kids

It is interesting to observe behavior of kids and also the behavior of others towards kids. Here are some observations that i found in a mail

• You spend the first two years of their life teaching them to walk and talk. Then you spend the next sixteen telling them to sit down and shut up.
• Grandchildren are God's reward for not killing your own children.
• Mothers of teens now know "why" some animals eat their young.
• Children seldom miss quote you. In fact, they usually repeat word for word what you shouldn't have said.

Recently i came across an interesting article about a service provider in US that can report you your traits and conditions according to your DNA. This service has changed the meanings of personal information.
For just about $400 you will get special equipment in which you have to send them your spit and you will get back the report according to your DNA.

In a battle,
a soldier was going to pick his wounded friend from front lines of battle field.
His commander said "It is of no use, your friend must be dead".
But soldier still went and brought back his friend as a dead body.
Seeing the dead body, commander said "i told you it is of no worth, he is dead".
The soldier replied, "No sir, it was really of great worth. When i reached there, my friend saw me, smile and said his last words 'i knew you will come'"

Elite education

I am often surprised by the parents who belong to middle class families in Pakistan. They pay 1/3, or 1/4 of their income as school fee of their one or two kids studying in primary classes. And after that obviously they always get lack of finance for their needs. This trend of joining elite schools is prevailing among our middle class in Pakistan.
Some people may disagree with me but personally i am strongly against this trend. A student in average school having proper attention of its family is with same chances to excel in future as a student of elite school.
One of my close friends made a long debate with me on this issue. He was of view that elite schools are a guaranty of better future. Our views conflicted and recently our another friend provided us with practical and verifiable examples of elite schools students with dark future in practical life. It seemed that my friend got convinced by those deniable examples.
So let us accept that elite schools are not imperative for success of any child. There are various other factors that contribute, so there is no reason to insanely disturb the family budget by just paying lot of fee to elite schools.
