Predictions/prophecies of Shah Nemat-Ullah Wali

Shah Nemat-Ullah Wali was a sufi poet of about 13th century AD (547 A.H). He is famous for his poem related to future predictions of wars and international affairs. His poems got published in 19th century. Since then people take interest to know and evaluate his prophecies. Most of predictions and prophecies are about wars and international affairs. Many people think that his predictions were remarkably proven true. I have read the translated poem and found it interesting. Original poem is in Persian (Farsi). Here is the English translation of poem with predictions of Shah Nemat-Ullah Wali.
  • The old tale comes to an end and i now turn towards India and unveil the events of coming millennium.
  • Mughal emperors would rule but it would be a cruel rule.
  • They would be indulged in luxuaries and comfort, and would quit the hard and warriors like life.
  • Government would be lost by them and it would be in hands of others.
  • After that there would be war among Russia and Japan. In which Japan would get victory and Russia would be defeated.
  • After end of war they would establish separate borders. There would be peace agreement it would be a hypocrite agreement.

Emotions have foot

Why Bill Gates would decide to Sell off Microsoft?

Letter from Banta Singh of Punjab to Mr. Bill Gates of Microsoft

Subject: Problems with my new computer.

Dear Mr. Bill Gates,

We have bought a computer for our home and we have found some problems, which I want to bring to your notice.

1. There is a button 'start' but there is no 'stop' button. We request you to check this.

2. We find there is 'Run' in the menu. One of my friends clicked 'run' he ran up to Amritsar ! So, we request you to change that to 'sit', so that we can click that by sitting.

3. One doubt is whether any 're-scooter' is available in system? I find only 're-cycle', but I own a scooter at my home.

4. There is 'Find' button but it is not working properly. My wife lost the door key and we tried a lot trace the key with this ' find' button, but was unable to trace. Please rectify this problem.

5. My child learnt 'Microsoft word' now he wants to learn 'Microsoft sentence', so when you will provide that?

6. I bought computer, CPU, mouse and keyboard, but there is only one icon which shows 'MY Computer': when you will provide the remaining items?

7. It is surprising that windows says 'MY Pictures' but there is not even a single photo of mine. So when will you keep my photo in that.

8. There is 'MICROSOFT OFFICE' what about 'MICROSOFT HOME' since I use the PC at home only.

9. You provided 'My Recent Documents'. When you will provide 'My Past Documents'?

10. You provide 'My Network Places'. For God sake please do not provide 'My Secret Places'. I do not want to let my wife know where I go after my office hours.

Regards,

Banta Singh

Interesting facts about table of 9

9 * 1 = 09 and also 0 + 9 = 9
9 * 2 = 18 and also 1 + 8 = 9
9 * 3 = 27 and also 2 + 7 = 9
9 * 4 = 36 and also 3 + 6 = 9
9 * 5 = 45 and also 4 + 5 = 9
9 * 6 = 54 and also 5 + 4 = 9
9 * 7 = 63 and also 6 + 3 = 9
9 * 8 = 72 and also 7 + 2 = 9
9 * 9 = 81 and also 8 + 1 = 9
9 * 10 = 90 and also 9 + 0 = 9

After 10, 11 would give 18 and onwards to 12 same formula would be applied.

9 * 11 = 99 and also 9 + 9 = 18
9 * 12 = 108 and also 1 + 0 + 8 = 9
9 * 13 = 117 and also 1 + 1 + 7 = 9
9 * 14 = 126 and also 1 + 2 + 6 = 9
9 * 15 = 135 and also 1 + 3 + 5 = 9
9 * 16 = 144 and also 1 + 4 + 4 = 9
9 * 17 = 153 and also 1 + 5 + 3 = 9
9 * 18 = 162 and also 1 + 6 + 2 = 9
9 * 19 = 171 and also 1 + 7 + 1 = 9
9 * 20 = 180 and also 1 + 8 + 0 = 9

After 20, 21 and 22 would give 18. Onwards to 23 same formula would be applied.
Same pattern would go up to infinity. It is amazing and math is elegant as art and sophisticated as science.

Some thing to ponder

Some days back i bought books containing discussions from famous Zaviya program of Ashfaq Ahmed. That was a very useful program and has many aspects of advice for young and old.
To day while reading some pages from Zaviya, i came across very simple concept of good deed. Ashfaq Ahmed defines the good deed as "act to facilitate any other". Its beautiful, simple and has very essence of Islam and other religions.
I think we all should comprehend and apply this concept in our lives. Surely it would benefit us in this world as well as in eternal life coming after death.

I read this small story, it has great impact. Hope same would be impact for you also.

'50gms!' .... '100gms!' .....'125gms'. The students answered.

Reset your priorities

Following piece of advice in the form of this short story, i read just couple of minutes ago. It was in my mail box for few days. After finishing my work tonight, i opened previous mails (which i declared as unimportant and leisure). This short story stunned my mind. A beautiful way of expressing very important fact of our lives. If understood and implemented, It could change the whole scenario of life.

Professor stood before his Philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full.
They agreed that it was.

Three deeds liked by each

I liked following hadith a lot. There are 21 deeds mentioned for 7 of our beloveds. If we try to adopt possible simple deeds, it would be great.

Note: Currently i did'nt find reference for above hadith. I would add reference as soon as i found it.

HR means High Risk. Always avoid high risks

After 2 years of selfless service, an employee realized that he has not been promoted, no bonus, no salary increment. So he decided to walk up to his HR Manager. His manager looked at him, smiled and asked him to sit down saying: "My friend you have not worked here for even a single day." The man was surprised to hear this, but the manager went on to explain.

Crazy Questionaire

I found following few questions through SMS, i liked the novelty
  • Why do people order a double cheese burger with fench fries or double coated pizza and then a diet coke?
  • Why can not women apply maskara on their eyes while keeping the mouth close?
  • Why is the word ABBREVIATION so log?
  • Why do we have to use start menu to shut down the widows?
  • Why is there dog food with improved taste, who tasted that?
  • When do we press the TV remote buttons harder when batteries are low?

Story of a consultant

Once upon a time there was a shepherd looking after his sheep on the side of a deserted road.

Suddenly a brand new Porsche screeches to a halt.

The driver, a man dressed in an Armani suit, Cerutti shoes, Ray-Ban sunglasses, TAG-Heuer wrist-watch, and a Pierre Cardin tie gets out and asks the shepherd,

Progress on Thar coal reservoirs utilization

It was in 1992 that the Geological Survey of Pakistan (GSP) discovered huge sub-surface deposits of coal--the largest in the world--in Thar District (Sindh). As the news spread globally, a number of foreign investors showed interest in the exploitation of Thar coal resources for powe generation. No concrete proposal was however received.
In response to the Energy Policy 1994 Consolidated Electric Power Asia Ltd of Hong Kong signed an memorandum of understanding (MoU) for developing a 1,425 mw capacity integrated power project based on Thar coal. But it did not materialize.

Thar coal reservoirs utilization dilema

We have much debate around us about Thar coal reserves. And mostly the view point is that "Thar can change the fate of the country if utilized in a proper way. It can save oil import bill, reduce unemployment and help strengthen economy, rupee and FOREX stocks".

Dr Murtaza Mughal president of Pakistan Economy Watch in a statement said that 185 billion tunes of coal worth USD 25 trillion can not only cater the electricity requirements of the country for next 100 years but also save almost four billion dollars in staggering oil import bill.

Challenge you

I came across an interesting situation when tried this simple task. I put this challenge to my blog readers.
  • Sit down on seat
  • Lift your right leg
  • Start rotating your right foot clock-wise
  • Also lift your right arm now
  • And start drawing circle in anti clock-wise direction through your right hand
The challenge is that you can not rotate the right foot clock-wise and right hand anti clock-wise at the same time. Your foot will automatically change the direction to anti clock-wise. Its amazing and it is a proof that how much man is helpless in case of built-in instincts and restrictions.

Utilizing Thar Coal Reserves

I have heard many people claiming about very huge reservoirs of coal in thar and the rumors that foreign elements are involved in to keep Pakistan away from utilizing these reserves. Keeping in view the very mean and cruel policies of big energy players all over the world it may be expected that just for their own thriving they may play with future of Pakistan through its ruler class. I got following email from one of my friends. If some part of following email is true even then it is a great issue and needs attention.
