Once upon a time there was a shepherd looking after his sheep on the side of a deserted road.

Suddenly a brand new Porsche screeches to a halt.

The driver, a man dressed in an Armani suit, Cerutti shoes, Ray-Ban sunglasses, TAG-Heuer wrist-watch, and a Pierre Cardin tie gets out and asks the shepherd,

Interview with a doctor

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways. Most of doctors prohibit their patients from various type of foods but here is an interesting interview with a doctor, who have different opinion. I hope medical license of such doctor is going to be canceled at any moment

Progress on Thar coal reservoirs utilization

It was in 1992 that the Geological Survey of Pakistan (GSP) discovered huge sub-surface deposits of coal--the largest in the world--in Thar District (Sindh). As the news spread globally, a number of foreign investors showed interest in the exploitation of Thar coal resources for powe generation. No concrete proposal was however received.
In response to the Energy Policy 1994 Consolidated Electric Power Asia Ltd of Hong Kong signed an memorandum of understanding (MoU) for developing a 1,425 mw capacity integrated power project based on Thar coal. But it did not materialize.

Thar coal reservoirs utilization dilema

We have much debate around us about Thar coal reserves. And mostly the view point is that "Thar can change the fate of the country if utilized in a proper way. It can save oil import bill, reduce unemployment and help strengthen economy, rupee and FOREX stocks".

Dr Murtaza Mughal president of Pakistan Economy Watch in a statement said that 185 billion tunes of coal worth USD 25 trillion can not only cater the electricity requirements of the country for next 100 years but also save almost four billion dollars in staggering oil import bill.

Live today

Majority of people around us either live in past or in future. Means that they always think about their past life or keep dreaming about future. They never note the bounties of Allah almighty that are present in their today life. Hence they have no sense of satisfaction and enjoyment. Every morning is full of opportunities, chances, bounties and much more. Only thing to do is to live every day, every moment. Else tomorrow never comes. And certainly also past would never come.

Challenge you

I came across an interesting situation when tried this simple task. I put this challenge to my blog readers.
  • Sit down on seat
  • Lift your right leg
  • Start rotating your right foot clock-wise
  • Also lift your right arm now
  • And start drawing circle in anti clock-wise direction through your right hand
The challenge is that you can not rotate the right foot clock-wise and right hand anti clock-wise at the same time. Your foot will automatically change the direction to anti clock-wise. Its amazing and it is a proof that how much man is helpless in case of built-in instincts and restrictions.
