Afghan army general addresses the forces

Although the general looks angry but its very funny. Resembles to a school class where an angry teacher founds no other way but to curse his/her disobedient students.

Diplomatic Shuttle transport Service, The Most expensive road travel

Few days back i had to visit an embassy located in Diplomatic Enclave Islamabad. It was my first visit since the intense security measures have been implemented in the area. About 5 gates like Sareena Hotel side gate and PM Secretariat side gate were closed for General use and only gate one was there to enter the diplomatic enclave. It was disturbing for me as i had to cover about 3 KM for entering the diplomatic enclave through only available gate at Quaid-e-Azam University and Bari Imam road.
Any how i passed through a security check post at main entrance and reached in front of Diplomatic Shuttle Service Terminal.

Predictions/prophecies of Shah Nemat-Ullah Wali

Shah Nemat-Ullah Wali was a sufi poet of about 13th century AD (547 A.H). He is famous for his poem related to future predictions of wars and international affairs. His poems got published in 19th century. Since then people take interest to know and evaluate his prophecies. Most of predictions and prophecies are about wars and international affairs. Many people think that his predictions were remarkably proven true. I have read the translated poem and found it interesting. Original poem is in Persian (Farsi). Here is the English translation of poem with predictions of Shah Nemat-Ullah Wali.
  • The old tale comes to an end and i now turn towards India and unveil the events of coming millennium.
  • Mughal emperors would rule but it would be a cruel rule.
  • They would be indulged in luxuaries and comfort, and would quit the hard and warriors like life.
  • Government would be lost by them and it would be in hands of others.
  • After that there would be war among Russia and Japan. In which Japan would get victory and Russia would be defeated.
  • After end of war they would establish separate borders. There would be peace agreement it would be a hypocrite agreement.

If u can help to solve it

Today i received an interesting question through SMS. It looked simple in first glance but actually it proved to be tricky. I invite you to solve the following situation.

Problem
Person A took loan of Rs 1000 and 500 from his friends B and C respectively.
Later A payed 1000 to some one else.
Out of remaining 500 A gave back 100 each to B and C.
And also purchased some goods of Rs 300.
Now person A has to pay 900 (1000-100) to B and 400 (500-100) to C.
It makes 900 + 400 = 1300. On the other hand person A has purchased goods of 300.
The total goes to 1600 (1300 + 300).
While the total was expected to be 1500, the amount which was borrowed.

So could u help to solve the equation that why amount exceeds to 1600?

Monkeys got the match-box

Monkeys got the match-box and now they can burn any thing that they want. In fact this example very much resembles the Anchors of Pakistani TV channels. Of course exceptions are there, so except a couple of competent hosts/anchors, all others are terribly misguiding the nation by managing and leading the debates on very very sensitive issues. They have their agendas and loyalties. And they are major cause of increasing the gaps among different groups of society.
Recently this reality became very much obvious when majority of anchors/hosts were busy in ill prepared programs on blasphemous law issues. On the other hand some are constantly busy in criticizing every political act either on Government or opposition side. Criticism for the sake of criticism.
Hardly one can find a program that serves a single of following
  • Leading the masses towards better political political sense
  • Increasing general knowledge of students/learners
  • Unveiling the corruption cases
  • Backing any harmony effort on political scenario
Majority of programs serve any of following purposes
  • Raising pessimism among the nation
  • Sabotage any effort/chance of political harmony
  • Presenting the evils of society as heroes
  • Highlighting the views of irrelevant ones on a topic
  • Posing too much consciousness on freedom of expression
So what to do?
Solution may be that never watch any current affairs program with total dependence on host/anchor. Watch it with critical mind and take care that host/anchor is not imposing his own views. Also keep in mind that the any guest person commenting on an issue is capable, relevant and worthy of that particular topic.

Islamic index launched in Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE)

Bombay Stock Exchange has launched Islamic index. Main objective is to provide a suitable environment for Muslims who are hesitant of using normal stock exchange activities due to certain religious concerns. These concerns are related to nature of company where investment is going to take place. Also interest based activities are strictly prohibited in Islamic Sharia.
It is very positive and should be appreciated that in economic filed, Indian business community have acted professionally without any religious bias.
Surprisingly, i became a little bit disturbed by reading this news. The reason was that we got a separate country by chanting slogans of Islam and now we are without any Islamic ideology. Instantly i Googled for any clue of Islamic index in Pakistani stock exchanges. And i found that The Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) and Al-Meezan Investment Management Limited (Al Meezan Investments) launched the Pakistan’s first co-branded Islamic Index, KSE-Meezan Index (KMI).
To bridge the gaps among religious and less religious classes in Pakistan, Government and private sectors should try to come close by such steps in every filed of life.

No wikileaks about Israel, Really?

I have heard many people saying that unlike many other countries there are no wikileaks about Israel. And with same mind most of people declare the wikileaks as a conspiracy by US Govt itself. Am so sick of these conspiracy theories. ): Even one of leading columnist in his recent column mentioned the same point and at the end declared the leaks as conspiracy of US Govt to develop a new strategy of diplomacy around the world.
I think such issues are not so simple as people give authoritative view on same. If you discuss this issue with people around you (as Pakistani folk is eager to discuss such topics) or read columns/articles in newspapers you may get a funny vision that Obama administration and Pentagon high ups are sitting together and approve the plan to reveal truth about their spy type diplomacy in form of wikileaks. It is ridiculous to think so.
Back to main point, today i have captured a snap on Google.com with results of term "wikileaks Israel". Google is showing lot of results on web and in news. So leaks are there about Israel also and these are serious. So there is no reality to say that there are no wikileaks about Israel.

You can try it yourself.

Year 2011 calender would be same as year 2005

Regarding the coming year of 2011, it is interesting to note that 2011 would match  2005. Days and dates would follow same combination as in 2005. This means vacations and other yearly events would follow same days. So if you have 2005 calender with you then  no need to buy a new one for 2011.
