his last words

In a battle,
a soldier was going to pick his wounded friend from front lines of battle field.
His commander said "It is of no use, your friend must be dead".
But soldier still went and brought back his friend as a dead body.
Seeing the dead body, commander said "i told you it is of no worth, he is dead".
The soldier replied, "No sir, it was really of great worth. When i reached there, my friend saw me, smile and said his last words 'i knew you will come'"
