Distinction of problem types

Pakistan is now a country full of problems and challenges. From a pedestrian to president of country every individual has grieve challenges on daily basis. Media is acting as an important character to highlight the problems.
Among the debates and commentaries every where, one thing is confusing (even funny) that common man is spending a lot of time on watching, reading and commenting the Govt level constitutional, judicial and policy issues and is paying less attention to problems that are really affecting his life.
Political parties are also neglecting these issues that are directly affecting the lives of people.
If i try to list the issues that i think are directly affecting the people, then it is surprising that about 60 to 70 % of issues are not even touched in our print and electronic media. Even people themselves are not too much involved in solution and highlight. The list may be as follows.
  • Inflation
  • Food contamination
  • Traffic jams
  • Fake medical practitioners
  • Poor quality medicines
  • Increasing black magic operators in society
  • Corruption for services
  • Law and order
  • Poor transport facilities
  • Awareness of women rights
  • Insufficient facilities at courts and jails
  • Insufficient and polluted drinking water
  • Optimizing Telecommunication sector policies. It includes revision and censorship of SMS and call packages.
These are few problems that hit my mind at this time. Of course you may point many more along with these. But main point is that these problems are not touched by any authority. And even media do not pay due attention to these issues.
It is required that to make the life a bit more better, people should talk and care about the problems that are really their own and truly affect them.
